Primary care

This is your normal in-person visit with your doctor. You'll complete important health screenings, physical exams or labs.

Urgent care

Seek urgent care if you can’t reach your doctor or if your doctor’s office is closed. Urgent care clinics offer care that may cost less than an ER visit. And you can get walk-in care on weekends and holidays.

Emergency room/hospital

An ER visit may cost more than an urgent care visit. It should only be used for severe, life-threatening symptoms.
